The 12" coaxial driver used in the WB1200 allows it to stand out from its competitors by providing a true point-source sound. Because the compression driver is mounted directly in the center of the low-mid driver, the acoustical output of both drivers emanates from the same point in space. This allows for a substantial improvement in phase coherency, directivity, imaging, and overall fidelity, when compared to most traditional two-way loudspeakers.
The WB1200 is available as either a full-range cabinet using a custom, in-house-designed passive crossover network, or as a bi-amplified loudspeaker. The WB1200 is also available in either 80 degree conical or 60x40 degree coverage patterns.
