The Ashly Audio AQM408 is an advanced, stand-alone speaker processor and zone mixer designed for use with external amplification, providing the power and flexibility to handle diverse audio situations.

Powered by the AquaControl DSP engine, first seen in the mXa1502, the AQM408 offers a comprehensive library of DSP functions through a versatile and intuitive user interface. It connects to any browser-enabled device via LAN or Internet, enabling convenient remote access for configuration and troubleshooting from virtually anywhere.

With its 4-input by 8-output configuration, the AQM408 is suitable for a wide range of applications, from small zone setups to stadium PA systems.

Intuitive AquaControl™ Software

The AQM408 features Ashly’s next-generation AquaControl™ web-server interface, compatible with any networked PC or mobile device across all operating systems, with no installation required. It retains most familiar features from our legacy Protea DSP software, eliminating the need to learn a new system. The AquaControl UI is designed to be intuitive, resembling popular websites for a seamless experience, and is optimized for touch panels, ensuring all functionality is accessible without “right-clicking.”

New features include a meters page displaying all input, output, and mixer meters in one view, and global selection/deselection/reset of multiple check-boxes for channel assignments, streamlining setup adjustments. The AquaControl™ Portal application, available as a free download, provides offline access on Windows™ PCs, maintaining the same features and user experience without requiring a DSP device or network.

Remote Access Anywhere in the World

The AQM408’s remote web access enhances service efficiency by allowing integrators to troubleshoot issues remotely from their office, reducing the need for on-site visits. AquaControl provides full remote access to all functions via Ethernet, with dedicated remote pages for live mixing or zone control accessible through any web-enabled device. The AquaTouch7 7" touch panel offers an elegant on-wall solution for convenient remote access.

Combining the 4.8SP and 3.6SP processors with the AQM1208’s powerful DSP toolbox, the AQM408 is Ashly’s most advanced speaker processor, adding features like feedback suppression, a 31-band graphic EQ, and FIR filters to the SP series.
